As women, we have our plate full of everything; everything that consist of our daily growth and lives. We are constantly rushing to meet deadlines and appointments. We want to make sure our top priorities like our homes, our spouses, our children, our jobs, and our families are taken care of.
We are passionate creatures! We love hard and we care deeply.
But do we STOP and smell the time? Do we STOP and take the time that is needed for ourselves? Do we look for and find that place of contentment, a place of STOP, a place that tells us All Is Well?
As we journey through life, the life that God has designed for us, let’s be sure we STOP and cherish the time. STOP and smell how beautiful and irreplaceable that moment in time can be. Also, while we are traveling on the journey, STOP and laugh out loud. There should always be a time of refreshing.
My son, Brandon, graduated from high school this year and I found myself reflecting on those younger years when he was growing up. I have only one regret and that is I wished I would have fully enjoyed more of his younger moments.
Like Serena Williams, I too missed my child’s first steps and yes, even now reflecting on those moments, I become emotional, so I can definitely relate to her feelings. However, I take pleasure in knowing those first steps I missed were only the beginning to many more moments that I’m so happily enjoying now.
So, enjoy the journey! Enjoy you, STOP and have fun!
God said “I come so that you may enjoy life to the full until your life overflows”.
